Ontario minimum wage to be raised to $11.40 an hour.

On March 18th, 2016 Labour Minister Kevin Flynn announced that the minimum wage for the province will be raised from $11.25 to $11.40 an hour. The increase will take effect on October 1, 2016. Flynn says that this increase is consistent with the rate of inflation. Currently, Ontario has the highest minimum wage among the provinces.
